For the last two weeks I’ve been watching runway show after runway show, but not for the clothes–for the music. I imagine it’s a tricky thing, selecting music for a fashion show: it’s got to reflect the mood/aura of the clothes, be appropriate for the niche of the designer, not be too mainstream, but also have a good beat for walking.

Here are some of my favorites:

Gaga’s “Bad Romance” video was STUNNING. Since the song premiered at Alexander McQueen’s show two months ago in Paris, I guess it’s only appropriate that she went with all McQueen for the styling of the video:
